๐ Work vs Rest
Work teaches us responsibility, discipline, and sincerity. A hardworking person completes tasks on time and achieves success through dedication and effort.
Rest is also important because it gives our body and mind energy. But too much rest and laziness can stop us from growing and achieving our goals.
The key to success is balance — work sincerely and take rest wisely.
๐Work builds success, and proper rest gives strength to continue.
The Reward of Hard Work
There were two friends — one named Work (Kartavya) and the other named Rest (Aaram).
Work always completed his duties sincerely, honestly, and on time, while Rest kept delaying his work and became lazy. Because of Work’s dedication, his farming was successful and his family lived happily.
Rest always thought about comfort and relaxation. He kept saying, “I will do it later,” and slowly became lazy. Though his wife advised him to finish his work on time, he never listened.

One morning, Work went early to the field for extra work, and Rest joined him. By afternoon, Rest sat down to relax, while Work continued working sincerely. Soon, a hungry holy sage arrived there to test Work’s kindness and sincerity.
The sage said, “My son, I am very hungry. Can you give me some food?”
Without hesitation, Work offered his entire lunchbox to the sage and said,“Please eat peacefully, Bapuji. Don’t worry about me; I can eat later at home.”
The sage was pleased with their kindness and gave them magical seeds. He said, “If you care for these seeds with love and sincerity, they will bring happiness and prosperity.”
But he added one condition:“You must sow these seeds before sunrise tomorrow.”
The next morning, both friends sowed the seeds in their fields. Work cared for the plants with love and dedication, and soon beautiful magical brinjals grew in his field again and again.
But Rest became careless and stopped taking proper care of his plants, so his field dried up. In the end, he understood that true success comes from sincerity, discipline, and hard work.
๐ Moral: Those who complete their duties on time are rewarded in life.
