(Time Is Precious)

One day, a grandfather gave his grandson-Yug an old clock.

Yug looked at it carefully and asked, "Grandpa, this clock looks very old. Yet you've kept it safely for so many years. Is it very special?"

Grandfather smiled warmly and replied, "Yes, it is very special to me. Your great-grandfather gave me this clock when I was about your age. I have treasured it ever since. Every time I look at it, it reminds me that every moment of life is precious. More importantly, it taught me one of the greatest lessons of my life."

Yug became even more curious.

Grandfather continued, "When I was your age, I often thought, 'I still have plenty of time. I'll finish my homework later... I'll help my parents tomorrow... I'll do it in the evening.' I kept postponing even small tasks. Slowly, saying 'I'll do it later' became a habit. By the time I realized my mistake, many precious moments and good opportunities had already slipped away—and they never came back."

He gently held the old clock in his hands and said, "Every tick of a clock reminds us that life keeps moving forward. Every second is a gift. Once a moment passes, no one can bring it back."

Yug looked at the old clock and understood its message.

From that day, he stopped waiting for the "perfect time." He completed his work on time, spent time with his family, and valued every moment.

Years later, when he became successful, the same old clock still had a special place on his table—not because it was old or valuable, but because it reminded him that every moment matters.
