He
planted the first seed in a pot and wrote “Selfishness” on it.
The
Selfishness plant grew quickly but weakly. It took too much water and sunlight,
leaving little for the other plants nearby. Soon its leaves turned yellow and
it started drying.
The Self-Respect plant grew strong and straight. It took what it needed but did not harm the other plants. Its stem became firm and healthy.
The Self-Love plant grew beautifully. It received care and also spread shade and freshness around it. Other plants near it also grew well.
One day the teacher asked, "What did you learn from these plants?"
The teacher smiled and said, "Exactly! In life, selfishness may seem powerful for a moment, but it weakens us.
Self-respect makes us strong, and self-love helps us grow while spreading kindness."
